Enjoy a Nashville City Tour to see a replica of the Parthenon, Old Ryman Auditorium, the State Capitol, and famous Music Row. This afternoon enjoy the amenities, shops, and holiday festivities  at the resort.  The magic of thee Gaylord Opryland resort comes to life with 2 million twinkling lights, horse drawn carriage rides, and stunning decorations. This evening a performance of the famous Grand Old Opry Show, A Nashville Highlight and longest running radio show.

Last night I had the best sleep of this trip. The bed was so much more comfortable than we have had. We got to breakfast at 630 and found a huge line, my heart sank. We just arrived early. They were very efficient once they opened. The spread of food was lovely. And tasty. I tried grits and discovered they made them salty. There was an omelet bar, pancake bar, fresh fruit, cereal. The wait staff was attentive without being obnoxious. Best breakfast on the trip!

Next was a city tour of Nashville with all the bars and music offices. The statue was supposed to represent Music City but many people were very disappointed that there were naked people on it.

Vanderbilt University has the only full size reconstruction of the Parthenon in the world
we saw a bunch of Canadian geese in Centennial Park.
Then they dropped us off down town for 3 hrs. We had bbq, we have a lot left to eat later, and an mm covered Carmel apple for later. Then we stopped in a couple places to listen to music.
We rode the bus back and then borrowed a knife from the cafeteria and cut up our health y Apple [not]. Then we went wandering to the Delta atrium and saw more fountains  and waterfalls and walked outside to the ice skating and bumper cars and saw where the ice sculpture playground is. But it's 40 bucks to go in each and we don't have time. Then we came back to the room and Paul ate goldfish crackers. We have a half an hour till we go to the Grand old Opry for the show.
I really like one of the songs writers Bill Anderson
